Alexandra Lebenthal is the President and CEO of Lebenthal & Company and its multi-family office Alexandra & James.  She comes from a storied Wall Street family. (Her grandparents, Louis and Sayra Lebenthal, founded Lebenthal & Co., Inc., a municipal bond specialist, in 1925.

Blake is ripe for recruitment given that he too is on the verge of being in dire financial straits given Lehman's decline and imminent bankruptcy.

There will be a wine and cheese reception, the Grand Prize drawing (for an Amazon Kindle), and following the presentation, there will be a book signing. Books will be available for purchase.

Playing at the library Friday, Aug. 6
Location: Darien Library
1441 Post Rd
When: August 6, 2010
Time: 7:30pm

The library's Friday movie, THE LAST STATION (2009), will screen at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 6. The film stars Christopher Plummer, Helen Mirren, James McAvoy and Paul Giamatti. Rated R; 113 minutes

In honor of his newly created religion, Russian novelist Leo Tolstoy renounces his title, property, and family in favor of poverty and celibacy. For the Countess Sofya, his wife of nearly fifty years, this is the last straw! After she discovers his plans to leave the rights to his iconic novels to the Russian people rather than his own family, she decides to use every trick of seduction in her considerable arsenal to fight for what she believes is rightfully hers.

"This production, directed by Michael Hoffman, is like a great night at the theatre--the two performing demons go at each other full tilt and produce scenes of Shakespearean affection, chagrin, and rage." -- David Denby, The New Yorker
